Really? You must be very special then. Do you mean to say that you can pronounce a city name or street name and the car would recognize it most of the time? Or that you can tell the car do dial a particular phone number and it would recognize all digits every (or almost every time)?

Yeah, I'm a white guy from the Midwest and the Voice system could not understand Minnesota without saying it 7 times!

Then I said 'Minneapolis' and I gave up after 4 times. - I pulled off to the side of the road and keyed in the address and never used it again!

Guys lets please keep the responses in this thread from being too personal / aggressive.

Thank you

I spoke in " I"m hungry" and it put icons on the map of local restaurants.
That was good, but now I can't get them off. Any ideas??

Try this, Born in Taiwan --> grew up in NJ --> educated in TX --> and stuck in TX for now!!!

With the combination of Taiwanese, Chinese, Cantonese, Taiwanes English, NJ/NY English, and TX English, even my wife has hard time understanding me sometimes!!!

That is why I do not even bother with the voice commend on my toys.

So after looking at the commands pdf above in this thread, I'm hungry, gas and temperature XX degrees seem to be the useful commands. Of course the mexican or italian would come in handy in a new city.

Great one!!! Man, I tried it when I first got mine. I said I'm hungry and it told me it didn't recognize the command. After the third time it came back "lowering the temperature to 65 degrees", but it was cold outside!

Another time I was parked in front of a store waiting for my wife. I decided to try it again in hopes of impressing my wife. I started with I'm hungry and the darn thing kept telling me that it could not recognize the command. After about three or four times, I started raising my voice and yelling I'M HUNGRY, I'M HUNGRY, I AM HUNGRY, over and over. Well I had my window down and so did an old couple in a Buick parked right next to me, staring at me with a very worried look in their face.

That was the last time I used it!
