How to shut off Chime when I open the Door
When I stop the car, put it in park and shut the engine off. I usually open the front driver door, so I can get out (duh!) - Why does the car have to continue to sound it's chime on a fairly normal operation? The chime will not shut up until I shut the door.
I got rid of the seat belt chime, just wondering if there is way to get rid of this one?

unless this is a new feature, from my experience it only chimes if you open the driver door BEFORE you turn the engine off. if you hit the off button before opening the door, it's silent.
i guess it's the car's way of reminding you that the "key is still in the ignition". otherwise you may walk away without turning it off.
that's how ours works, and we have disabled seatbelt chime as well. but ours is an 06, not sure if they changed it since then.

Yup, you are correct! - I was opening the door first. - You'd think that the car would stop chiming when you shut off the engine as well!
