Conclusion, "the specialist" told them to replaced my tires with different Michelin, and that should solve the pulling issue. The only explanation I got from him was that PS2 is not approved by Lexus.

This is my 3rd pair of shoes for my GS in less than a year, I think my GS is getting spoiled!!!

So did they give you the list that was approved??
Also check this old link. Apparently the PS''s were OK back then...

This one is a no brainer - I'd go with the Pilot A/S tires in a heartbeat!

No, they have not told me which brand of tires are approved by Lexus, nor types of Michelin they are going to replace on my toy.
I will ask them to give me the list and post it in CL once I get my toy back!!!

I am getting the pilot primacy HP now, turned down the pilot sport A/S. I want another summer tire, not A/S.

I put on the Michelin A/S after wearing through the Advans (26k), and they are very quiet, but still too new to render a final verdict. But I was rather surprised by how different the car handled in high speed sweeping corners. There's this one stretch I travel every day and have had it thru there at 70, 80, 90 MPH, and the Advans felt really planted. With the A/S the car starts to hop laterally on the small ripples at 80. I dare not go higher. Even at lower speeds where I'm not pushing the adhesion, the A/S's feel like they're almost over-gripping--more turn for less wheel action. In a way it seems good because the car wants to turn like it's on rails. But there's that threshold you don't want to go past. Hey, now I know what a 911 is like...

Question Primacy vs Primacy HP

I hope the Primacy HP's are better than the original Primacy's. We had them on our 2003 BMW 530i and they were noisy at 10K. We offed them at 18K and they were less than 1/2 worn out.

Kind of hard to decipher your post. At first you say the car laterally "slides" on the same corners the advans stuck but then you say it handles on rails? So is it stickier or not (compared to the advans)?

With the Advans it gripped well in that sweeper--felt planted even when the pavement was not totally smooth--car always felt in control. With the Michelin A/S it grips fine up to a certain speed but then the rear hops sideways if I push it too far. Goes from full control to dicey, no in between zone where it slides at the limit of adhesion (which I'd prefer). Maybe the stickiness will reduce as I get some more miles on them.

I should mention also that they are great in a straight line. No vibration--low noise.

Just got my toy back couple days ago, they have put on the Michelin "Pilot Primacy HP" on it.

My service advisor told me that from now on Lexus only use Primacy HP as their OEM 18" tires.

Yup, those are the same tires I got. Pretty damn quiet.

Here is my take on the primacy HPs. Quiet tire, more comfy ride than advan, and handles fairly well. My favorite, smooth as glass at high speeds.

I think the advan is a better looking tire (sidewall), handles a bit sharper, brakes a bit better, and doesn't follow grooves in the road like the michelins do.

AGREE!!!

Also is felt softer ride when compare to Advan, but does not stick to the road as good as Advan. But I rather trade "pure performance" (for maybe 10 seconds, even though it is good for your heart!!!) to "quiet and smooth" ride!!!

Somehow, it also fixed my "pulling" issue on my GS!!!
