My son Josh just painted my calipers. Used black caliper paint, as that goes best with Starfire Pearl, I think. Got my decals on EBay (from a US source), and in fact I got enough decals to do three more cars -- so am more than willing to share the decals I have left (just send me a stamped self-addressed envelope). Here are some photos to enjoy. I'm very pleased with the result Josh achieved. One question: we tightened the wheels to 90 lb/ft using the torque wrench. Does that sound right?

We have re-torqued to 83. I am grateful for the advice.
In case you haven't guessed, the author of post #33 is indeed my son Josh (see his beautiful 2000 M coupe in his "signature."
If anyone wants those decals, just send me a private message and I'll give you my snail-mail address -- then a SASE gets you a free decal. First two comers only.
Cheers,
Michael

Josh needs to come down to FLA on a roadtrip and paint my calipers!
Wonderful job & great look! This has solidified my next project... now, just need to decide on the color... I was thinking about black or red.... but after seeing the black on your Starfire Pearl, I must say it looks really, really clean. The red may be too over-the-top on my car... hmmmm.....

The decals are spoken for-- and jaxgs350, Josh might be interested in that Florida roadtrip, provided you have a beach house for him to use during his stay! :-)

Awesome!
BTW, 76 ft/lbs is factory spec for Toyota/Lexus wheel lugs. Going over it will risk the damage of your lug nuts and studs.
