Interior Lights
Just picked up my GS350 two weeks ago...Love the interior lighting scheme, however I feel that is a bit dim...so, a couple of questions:
1. When you open the door at night, should all the lights come on bright inside, or just the door that you are opening (after you are in park of course)? I am used to all of the lights coming on, but don't notice that in this car.
2. Are the homelink buttons supposed to be lit up? Shouldn't they be?
3. What about the buttons that control the sunroof, spot lights, etc? Are they supposed to be lit? I tried to open the sunroof last night, and couldn't figure out which button to push without first turning on the spot light, and then directing the light towards the buttons...If not, I think that is a MAJOR oversight on the part of Lexus, considering even the AC Vent shutters are lit.

Especially with blk leahter and window tint, you do not get the added benefit of ambient light helping you out when opening the door.
So you finally get in the car for some nighttime driving, and you want to concentrate, but oops, Lexus decides to leave one LED in the center on all the time.
Yes, Lexus really screwed up the lighting.

I'm with you about MORE lighting, but I kinda like that ambient llighting. the one led light to light up the center area was nice, although they could've added a way to turn it off (like in the ES) for those who dont want it.

I am driving a ES350 as a loaner right now, and I think the lighting is much better. When i open the drivers door, all of the lights come on in the interior, and instead of just 1 LED light on each side as the "door" light, the ES has 3 on each side. Why couldn't they do the same in the GS?
