Nice car!

The accident definitely looked bad, but I didn't think it would've totaled out the car?! Was there frame damage or something?

Default No frame, Unibody

According the the body shop, there is no traditional frame on this car. It is a Unibody which I think it more expensive to fix, Not sure though.

It was totaled b/c there was body damage all the way to the back panels and the engine was not working.

Congrats on the new car, my GFM brother. Oh btw, I think chrome is perfect for the paint on this car. But just about all wheel finishes look good on it.

I noticed that the passenger's airbags deployed - was there anyone sitting in the front passenger seat at impact ? Also, re your 5.1 Nav screen, would you say that the resolution on your 6.1 is alot sharper & clearer than the 5.1 ???

Yes, there was a passenger.

Re the Screen/6.1 Navi, the resolution is noticeably sharper and clearer. I am not sure if that is the DVD or the hardware/screen. I have had my new GS350 for a week and for a few days, I was disoriented, i.e. I missed the old resolution and general look (including color scheme) of the 06 GS300. Now, I am used to the new screen and I think I prefer it. The software and pop-up messages, like "POI Icons cannot be displayed, etc..." move much faster too.

On a different note, are you an attorney in SoCal? If so, in what area geographically and legally do you practice?
