iPhone and Lexus - what works and what doesn't?
The iPhone is probably the most talkable phone ever, and tons have been sold now, but, on the Lexus site for the GS (and the LS as well), there is nothing about the compatibility level (which features work and which don't) with the Lexus bluetooth. This is ridiculous.
Has anyone tried to hook a iPhone into their GS, and, if so, what worked and what didn't? Thanks.

I am using the iPhone on the '07 LS460.
Battery and Signal show on the car's screen.
Pairing works very well - quality of call is good. Stays connected (rare disconnects)
No transfer of contacts (but this is a profile that is missing from he iPhone).
Ringing through car OK. Caller ID if contact is stored in car. (But have not fully tested caller ID capabilities yet)

I have a 2007 GS450h and the above goes for it as well. Works great.

ALSO, and even more importantly for me, is there a way on the Lexus (don't have my 2008 GS yet, will be ordering soon) to enter a "pause" as part of a number if you enter a speed dial entry manually into the car. I know that there is on the iPhone as there is on most other phones, if you enter the contact on the phone side. The iPhone shows it as a "," but most phone show it as a "w" or a "p" depending on the type of pause choosen.
