front bumper -- it looks ok, about, not as good as old one
headlights -- doesn't look good and smooth at all
mirror turn signals -- lines way too sharp, doesn't fit the car
rear bumper -- i like the new changes
shift plate -- i like the new one, looks pretty nice
new key chain -- silver color, very nice and different
new steering wheel -- it's really ugly

 

yeah what's up w/ the steering wheel. it looks cheap like the ES wheel - i can't really tell from the photo, but no more textured surface, just that fake looking vinyl surface? i hope the stitching is still there on the inside.

 

The headlights on the 06 and 07 were a lot better, and I don't like how the inner housings look "smooshed" into the grill with the 08. Honestly, it almost looks like they are trying to do away with them gradually.

After seeing these 2 pics available....I'm definately very content with my '07 GS....the only change I will pursue is the turn signals in the mirrors....either factory or aftermarket. It would also be nice if Lexus offered an ipod hook up!!!

 

I like the refresh. Looks good.

Let's hope they resolved the interior rattle and lighting issues as well. That, combined with what seems to be a disappointment for most, should all work in my favor on a really good, perhaps sub-invoice deal on a Opaline Pearl AWD ML 350.

 

The exterior looks pretty good, minus those cheap looking rims.

The interior, shift gate looks nice but that steering wheel is a BIG step down. It looks like an ES wheel and the Lexus logo looks stretched .

The GS refresh (including the 460) is thoroughly mediocre. Lexus could have done A LOT better than this.

 

Does the tape deck offer Dolby b and c ??

 

Personally I find ALL of the changes minor but slightly better. I never was interested in getting the V8, so the horsepower issue does not upset me.

I'm still planning on getting a red 2008 GS350.

they still have cassette deck on the gs?! why are they doing this? and they don't have it for the 2is and ls460 at all?

I like the wheels. Anybody buy a 08, I'll switch wheels with you.
I like the mirror blinkers and it seems all they did was body match the rear bumper.
Anybody know if they backlighted the buttons in the head console? and pics of that?
