oh really, i didn't know they changed that much on the nav from 06. how about 07, do they have gen 4 or 5?! (obviously newbie here)

We don't hate the GS. Some of the decisions we do question. Contrary to what some people think, many are passionate about the GS.

Its still the 3rd best selling in class. It is fantastic.

SOme of us 2GS owners can be a PITA

as we love our GSs and have high expectations for the 3GS.

It still is very high on my next car list.

Yes Henry the gen 5 screen is much higher resolution than the gen 4 which allowed for better smoother color gradations and more precise graphics.

'07 and '08 have gen 5 AFAIK.

lol i can tell you i am very familiar with this screen setup

i guess i just forgot how the gen 4 on the 06 is in terms of resolution, etc... if the pixel and resolution are bad, then it kind of sux coz' that means during dvd playback it's not as clear?

good info paul. i guess 07 might be a good buy huh, if they still have blk/blk with ML

06 has gen 4, which means it's the same as my 05 sc430. if that's the case, that's really quite a bit off from the newest one
