Default CD Player Not Working

Has anyone had a problem with their CD player. I cannot get my to play. When I hit the disc button the two lights blink and nothing happens. I think the CD is stuck. Any solution?

Funny you mention that. Mine started acting the same on Saturday, won't eject or play discs and amber lights just flash. Rest of audio system and NAV works fine.

I emailed my service advisor, as I'm due for my 10K anyhow, but have not heard back from him yet.

I can't imagine a solution other than replacement and am curious as to how much they'd have to replace. Any suggestions for self-fix, I'm game.

just curious.... are these CD-Rs and CD-RW's that are getting stuck and not playing? I read somewhere on this board that the cd player has trouble reading and ejecting them.

All 5 of my discs that sre stuck are CD-R's, how else can you take advantage of the MP3 capability? It has worked perfectly for 12 months and then.......

I got my player to eject the CD's today and all appears right with the world again.

Here's what worked for me. I was curious if the disc cover would depress any if pushed, so I pushed the eject button and then touched the CD part lightly with a quarter. It spit out all five discs I had immediately and appears to be functioning perfectly.
