Default 2007/2008 GS350 Stock Tires/Wheels??

Hello all,

I'm a little confused as to what tires/wheels the base GS350 comes with. Can anyone fill me in? I see options for 18" Summer Tires, 18" Run Flat Tires, as well as various 18" rims.

What is the base configuration? 17" or 18"? Anyone have pics?

I've looked on the Lexus website and haven't been able to get a clear answer.

thanks!

A little more searching and I found the answer myself

The Base Configuration comes with 17" Wheels (17" x 7.5" 10-Spoke Aluminum Alloy) and 17" Tires (P225/50VR17).

You can upgrade to any of these 18" Tire packages:
18" P245/40ZR18 Summer w/Spare
18" P245/40VR18 AS Run-Flat Without Spare
18" P245/40VR18 AS Run-Flat w/Spare Tire

If you upgrade to 18" Tires, you need one of these Wheels:
18" 5-Spoke Aluminum Alloy - Standard for 18" Tires
18" G-Spider Alloy Upgrade (PPO)
18" Machined Tourmaline (PPO)

Is this 2007 info only or does it apply as well to 2008, which is what I plan on getting? Thanks

2007 info only. We haven't seen the picture of new 17" wheel yet.

Now, all these configurations are available but normally, almost all AWDs sold in norther region will come with 17" wheel and all season tires. I live in Seattle, WA and I've never seen a RWD GS350 (special order only) or AWD with 18" tires at any lexus dealers in the area. In southern area, it's totally opposite.

tjp....I too live in WA...was very surprised to see nothing but AWD's...I originally wanted a rear wheel drive GS(wish I would of known about the effing coilovers not being made for AWD....would of not purchased AWD had I known that....plus the AWD's come with a "lift kit" from the Tundra program....the wheel gap is huge so you can put some Toyo Mud-Terrains on the AWD(31x10.5)....enough ranting....yes mine came with 17's and lame run flats. I wouldn't purchase the 18's(can't tell the diff from 17-18's) from Lexus...for $2500...I'd put that towards some 19's or 20's.
