Wow and its a lease correct. I'll be in the market for 3GEn in a couple months so this is a wakeup call for purchasing used cars. Hopefully your insurance take care of you.

wow, this guy has got to be kidding. That is a total loss through and through. That car is worthless and you should talk to a lawyer about suing your InsCo for breach of contract and breach of the covenant for good faith (bad faith).

Default talked to lexus

OK went back to dealership to see if I could get anything done. Of course they said its out of there hands and its up to the insurance to total the car. So it looks like Im gonna have to sue or just wait until the lease is up. One odd thing about all of this is my car isnt showing up on carfax. I guess thats a good thing at least when I take it back the car repairs wont affect my lease return.

I would fight water with FIRE!

Best way to start a fire is using a match and maybe some lighter fluid!

Try not to let the entire car burn...that would be a total loss...and most likely your lease GAP insurance would cover the difference between what your insurance wont pay and what you owe back to lexus. That would unfortunately leave you without this fine vehicle.

I wouldnt let this one incident stop you from buying a used lexus just becareful. My 99 gs has 180 some odd thousand miles and it still has the org. timing belt. Lexus builds good cars this was just a fluke. As for my car I will post when, where and vin number of my lease when I return it so no one on here at least wont buy it. After all we gotta stick together.
