Default Cashmere Interior + Black All Weather Mats

I put in these all weather mats two days after I got the Lexus. I bought them from the dealer. Overall I like them very much. I was first concerned with the aggressive black rubber contrast against the luxury cashmere/wood interior but IMO it worked out great. I love the tire tread pattern and the lexus branding on the mats.

Sorry if they look dirty. I didn't clean them before I took the pix.

I like that two-tone look. I did the same with my last car which had a tan interior. IMO, it looks better than having soiled cashmere floor mats.

put mine in 1st day (gray interior wiht black wood and dash). Could you imagine what a pain it would be to keep the standard mats (in my case light grey) clean?

Exactly. Trying to keep the light cashmere mats from getting dirty is impossible. The dealer also has some cheap looking clear plastic mats but fortunately I got the all weathers.

So did you guys take out the mat and put in all-weather or just put it on top?

I have a set in my garage that I'm about ready to put in for the winter.

I have the brown all weather mats and used them last winter, and will use them again this winter, but prefer the look of the cashmere mats. I sprayed them with 303 fabric protectant and they have not stained at all.
Having said that, it's just me and my girlfriend in the car, no kids, pets etc.

Definately take out the regular mats before you put in the all weathers. The dealer warned me about this. Said that if you leave the originals underneath, the gas peddle could get stuck in one of the groves and will prevent you from braking/stopping.

Thank you! That saved me a minute for trying it myself

When I bought my GS, it came in the package and was listed at $99.

You could probably find it cheaper from lexusparts or something.

i think th edealer cost is around $30. Need to take out the carpets so that the rubber mats can clip just like the carpets do. in the back i just layed over top.
