Default South African 2007 GS 300

Hi All

This is my new GS300 (only GS300) are available in SA

I have put 18X8" Stamford's on, the road quality is not reliable enough to put bigger on. Am running Toyo t1r 225/45/18. supply issues put me off the 245's. sometimes sa sucks

Eibach springs are on there way from germany and a body kit from japan. i will add pics as work is done.

noy quite as slick as what you guys can do, but getting there...........

I'd really appreciate any comments amd/or suggestions.

No need to lament the fact that it's a GS300! I've been thrilled with mine...especially the 31 mpg I reliably see on the highway. Car looks nice.

nope, no moonroof.

iv got a moonroof on my other car, and find i never really use it, the sun eats you alive here in summer if you open it, so i never do.

Default interior

the interior is gray with black inserts.

according to the dealership, this is the only one with this combo currently in the country.

it is just very frustrating to find anything for this car here.

the rims i really wanted to put on didn't clear the front calipers and i couldn't find an adaptor to fix the problem. damn frustrating..........

because the rims are so open i was thinking of painting the calipers, what do you think, yes or no? and if yes, what colour?

Welcome to CL!

I don't know if you knew, but the US-Spec 2006 Lexus GS sales brochure theme was based off of locations in South Africa.

I like the side markers!

I thought the 350 and 300 have pretty much the same fuel efficiency.

Congrats and welcome!
