IMO, they don't even look that good on the IS, even if they weren't fake

Maybe not stacked, but side by side, kinda like the TL-S (which are real & functional)

there was a post a while back that showed that the actual production exhausts are functional...the fake tips were only for pre prodution cars

Some aftermarket companies offer kits with an exhaust like this, the IS-F is not the only one.

I believe I have even seen one for the new LS 460 with stacked exhaust......

In pics its not too attractive but after seeing it in person, it was MUCH better. It clearly is different to the usual pipes.

negative. lexus just brought out an almost production is-f to jdm theory, the tips are still fake

to me, fake tips, doesn't really matter to me. but the design on the is-f is just ugly. like the ls460, it's also fake, but it looks cool

^ I disagree, fake tips don't belong on a 60k+ *sports* car (period). I know you are slightly biased, but I don't care for the blended exhaust on the 4LS, it'd be better if the actual exhaust tips protrude past the bumper. Same with the IS-F, dual tips from the exhaust should protrude out the bumper or rear valance . . .

no problem, it's personal preference after all. but tips are "cosmetic" stuff after all, so it's probably a choice from manufacturer about what to do. 60k or not that doesn't matter

yup.. totally agree! the OP already did this on his car

4 tips 2 tips don't matter, as long as the back pressure is controlled nicely and in sync with the intake, tips are just for look anyway.

Not feeling those ISF pipes, especially sice they are fake. I wouldn't like them for the 3GS even if they were real.
The integrated pipes on the LS460....now that looks good! I'd put them on the GS.

technically the ls460 and the is-f design are the same though. the "tips" you see is just a fake one on the bumper

but looking at the style i like the ls460 but not the is-f

You know, the IS-F DOES have quad exhaust. Real. The tips just aren't connected. whats the big deal? There are cars that cost 2-3 and more than the IS that do this as well (Audi R8, Lamborghini Murcielago included), I don't hear anybody screaming bloody murder.
