Honestly why would Lexus brass care about the R8 or Murcielago ? 
Look at the AMGs and Bmw Ms - they have true and functional dual exhaust tips, and this is exactly the segment the F cars should be aimed squarely at, starting with the aforementioned IS-F. Think about it, the original LS was created to target the MB S class, and they nailed that segment. . .

But I care more about what Lexus is doing than another brand. I visit many other sites and they rag on the ISF for the fake pipes. I can't defend it. Especially since I don't think it's cool either.
