Hey,
Where did you get those exhaust tips??? I also hate the low RPM drone of the standard exhaust.

Let me know,

Thanks!

After 8 years and 140,000 miles I retired my 1999 GS300 and purchased a 2007 GS350. Smoky Granite Mica with black leather and Navigation. My short list of mods includes: Tanabe NF210 springs, 35% ceramic tint, XM radio, JL Audio 250/1 amp, JL Audio 12W3V3 in a custom 4080enclosures.com.

Don't ask, they are just exhaust tips not a full exhaust. I know that I'm just a poser but I can't deal with the low rpm drone that you get with free flowing exhaust.

I changed the wedge and fog light bulbs to PIAA ION Crystal Amber and had the fog lights covered with yellow tint:

Painted the calipers:

The www.4080enclosures.com is very OEM like and doesn't take up make space:

My Lexus and my BMW:

And of course I have to represent for CL and SELOC:

Drone from standard exhaust?? The tips are just generic double walled stainless steel tips that I found at a local muffler shop. Thanks for all of the love fellas!

Congrats!!! Wow, you didn't waste time doing those mods!

Would be interesting to hear your impressions of how it differs from your 2GS.

Hey KayGee, congrats on the new ride! How long did you own this vehicle before putting the Tanabe springs on?

4 days.

The difference can be summed up in 2 words: power and technology. 300hp is waaaaaay more than I need. I drive like a grandpa usually at speed limit +10. The other day I did punch it to avoid a yellow light and I could really tell what 300hp will do.

The technology of the 3rd Gen is light years ahead of my '99. I didn't have Nav in my old car so I can't compare but the touchscreen, bluetooth, adaptive headlights, rain sensing wipers, push button start are all really nice. I also think that the standard stereo is better than the Nakamichi that I had in my 2nd Gen.

iam looking foward of putting a system in my trunk this summer like 2 13" jl audios a nice amp and a good heavy capacitor but iam a bit worried of going thur another electric problem with the car not handling the bass e.t.c and i dont want to go with an aftermarket juiced alternator had bad experience
