New GS commercial
Thanks to my lovely PVR, I very rarely see commercials, but about an hour ago I just stumbled upon the new GS commercial during SportsCenter on ESPN.
It's kinda funny too -- basically, shows the "diginified" GS doing a bunch of maneuvers that are "beneath" it, like doughnuts, power slides and j-turns. Like it. I'm sure there will be a few others.

Interesting. I kind of suspected that, specifically because the commercial in general was vague and didn't say "GS460", or the "2008 GS" or things like that. The only time I really see commercials are when I'm at bars, other people's houses, hotels, etc, and I frequently see ES and LS commercials, but I actually can't remember the last GS commercial I saw ... probably a year ago. Maybe we'll see more of them in the next couple weeks as an indication of the '08s finally reaching the lots ... or as a push to clear out remaining '07s.

I just saw it. It was good.
Ended with "the new GS" at the end.
The differences are so subtle and the car was moving so fast I could not tell if it was indeed the new model.
I can't believe I went to Taste of Lexus this past weekend and they still had the 07 models

The 1 I saw was a overhead shot of a car doing a pretty tight doughnuts over and over again. Voice over" The New GS 460, Yes you can, No you shouldn't". That right there is a classic line.
My ideal of a great GS commercial, A side by side drift contest in stock form against some of the best. Yea it will lose but look good doing it and proving a point.

sounds like lexus marketing has been reading this forum, and stole the idea from that youtube vid after we recommended it.

hey. if you look closely at the original shakycam video posted on youtube...........
they were actually driving the 2008 GS. Look at the side view mirrors.
looks like these were the actual drivers in the final commercial.
