Question Problems w/ "the accessories and audio system in the all-wheel-drive Lexus GS sedan"

Consumer Reports said that they downgraded the Lexus GS becuase of "the accessories and audio system in the all-wheel-drive Lexus GS sedan"

Now WHAT exactly is Consumer Reports complaining about?? Does anyone on this forum know?

Probably because most of the AWD's are configured with 17" + all-season tires and without ML?

What does that "17" + all-season tires and without ML" have to do with "accessories and audio system" problems.

Based on the feedbback on the past year in this forum, I'm not sure WHAT "accessories and audio system" problems Consumer Reports are talking about.

lock out while driving would be one example... Keep in mind this is not really an dependability survey, rather what ppl like or not...

Silly part is that RWD is reccomended while AWD is not, and it these aspects, they are exactly the same :-)

err i believe it's from the reliability report right? if so they nav lock out can't be an issue

You didn't even mention the word "problem" in the original post which led me to think it's the configuration/accessories for AWDs. i.e. I haven't seen an AWD with ML at my dealership yet.

Anyways, nav lock-out applies to both RWD and AWD so that can't be it.

it is not dependability... in reliability rankings, actual dependability is one small part of equation. At least thats how it works with JD Powers.

I mean, there is apsolutly nothing different in Audio options between RWD and AWD? Maybe some of them didnt like Runflat tires that come with some AWD's?
