You didnt get my comment...
I do understand that Lexus wont listen to me and any other "screaming" fellows, but if they come here (which I'm sure they do) read the posts and make it happend rather sooner then later - I'm good. Of course I'm talking about not only GS. FYI, BMW is putting A2DP support on their cars not because of lack of other means to play music - because of convinience. If you use hands free profile no your GS, you should understand what I'm talking about.
As to the technical implementation (that what I was referring to) it is easy for them to do... BT stack is a part of NAV system software that comes on your NAV DVD.
There is a huge list of phones supporting A2DP - enough of the critical mass for car maker like Lexus to acklowldge it. BMW did.

I use the hands free profile on my GS pretty much every time I drive. I don't understand what you're talking about since I don't know what stereo support would sound like.

Scenario: you enter the car, your phone hooks up over BT with car in both modes - hands free AND a2dp(BT stereo). You press play in music player on your phone - you listen music over car's stereo. Incoming call music stops - you talk...

In simple terms - it is the similar to hands free, but you are able to play music from your phone(or other device that has A2DP support) with high quality without messing around with cables or crappy cassette adapters.
