Bluetooth connection
I have been trying to register 2 cell phones to our GS350. I register my wife's phone and then when I attempt to register my phone, her phone apparently is no longer registered. I assumed that you need to change the passkey, but it seems to have no effect. Anyone ever registered more than one cell phone in their car? If so, how did you do it? Thanks in advance.

I did it and it only took me one try. Passkey is also the same. Can't remember exactly how I did it, but it was easy. How many times have you tried this?

It should work the same for the second phone as it did for the first. Just "add a phone" and go thru the same steps. On the menu that says "select phone", you should have both phones listed. Are you somehow deleting the first phone when adding the second?
Before you try the second again, go to the "select phone" screen and see if the first is there. If not, add the first phone and check the "select Phine" screen again. Then go thru the add a phone steps. What does the system say when you go thru this?

I have tried it 2-3 times. In each case the last phone to be registered is the one the car connects to. The other phone no longer connects. I know that you can only connect one phone at a time, so I make sure that both phones are not on at the same time.

My guess is that you have both registered. The only one that connects automatcally is the one that was last connected. If you want to switch to the other phone you have to use the 'Select Phone' option where you will see both registered phones.

Multiple phones registered to bluetooth
I'm sure this is a stupid question, but if you have two phones "registered" and both people are in the car at the same time, can one use the bluetooth, and the other talk on the actual phone, or can only one phone be used at the same time (not often an issue, just wondering)?

Bluetooth
Thanks to all for the help. Sure enough, both phones are registered and I just need to select the phone to be used from the menu. I just never noticed the select phone icon until you guys told me to wake up. As a side note, it just is amazing to me that a car with the technology that this car has designed into it and it can't detect which phone is in the car? Hard to believe. Thanks again for the help.

Multiple phones
Hergs, it would be nice if the Bluetooth could detect it if it were the ONLY phone in the car, but we would often have multiple phones in the car that are "registered", so I'm not sure how that would work -- how would the car know which one you want "on"?

I agree that it would be difficult if not impossible to detrermine which phone to use. I was thinking more from the perspective when my wife gets in the car it should know it's her phone and if I use the car the next day, it should know it's me and switch. If we both enter the car with our cell phones on, then the car should just default to the last driver and we could use the select phone feature to alter the default if we so desire. My opinon.
