Default 2007 GS 350 NAV override???

My husband recently purchased the 07 GS 350, anyone have tips on how to override the navigation? I have the 07 RX 350 and the volume screen override works, but not with his car. Any tips would be so appreciated!

My new 2007 GS350 is on its way home (via husband and daughter, from SoCal to NoCal) right now, so I'm interested in the answers to this question as well. What is the volume screen override?

There is No response to the original post because this has been discussed extensively and is in many threads. For the 07 GS, there is no way to enable this unless you pull apart the dash and cut wires (search nav bypass) or make a hybrid Nav disc .....GL

EyeKutr, I've read those. I know you can cut wires to override the lockout. I still don't know what the volume screen override is, though.

sf7307,
On my RX350, I can override the navigation system so that it is usable while driving. I go to the Volume screen, then tap the top left corner of the screen, then the bottom left corner of the screen, then repeat. A list of options comes up and I press override.
I wish we could do something similar with the GS350! Enjoy your new car! My husband loves it!

So, the volume screen override doesn't work on the 2007 GS350. I assume some other override method (such as cutting wires) does work?

the volume hack only works on 5.1 or earlier. 6.1 or later, the screen touching of the top left, btm left, doesn't work.
THe cutting always still works.
