I just bought a '06 GS 300 awd on Friday and when I was washing it 2day I noticed something strange...I believe the front tires are mounted 'inside out'... They are Pirelli PZero Nero Run Flats and the front 2 are marked 'INNER' on the outside of the tire (the back says outer)...I am positive they are the same 4 tires but they look different (I know i'm not makin sense)...Is it possible that they mounted 2 tires wrong...Can someone please let me know am I going crazy

yes, someone might have installed them wrong. inside means inside, not outside.
Find the moron and question his ability to do a simple task of installing a tire on a wheel.
If it is incorrect, you could cause serious damage to the tire and to you the drive if something happened.
Get them fixed ASAP.

This reminds of a tire installer I encountered a while ago. this is a private used tire shop. the installer claimed that you are supposed to inflat the tires to the miximum pressure indicated on the tire side wall regardless of what the car manufacturer stated in the owners manual. ![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
The tires I happened to be installing has maximum pressure of 50 psi. I tried but decided not to **** him off. So I went straight to the near by gas station lowered it to 32 psi...
Next time I went by, the shop was gone for good.

Hey BmoreGS4, the same thing happened with my tires. I ordered my rims/tires together online and when they arrived, I noticed all four tires were mounted inside out. Before I mounted them on my car, I took it to a tire shop and had them remount it properly. If there tires are not directional, there shouldn't be a problem leaving them the way they are. I just had them changed for peace of mind and cosmetic reasons.

Does anyone know if Pirelli PZero Nero tires are directional?

If it's an asymmetrical tire (meaning the tread is different on one side from the other) or if it's directional (meaning the tread pattern is angled up or down, not a radial design) then they can only be mounted safely one way.
Here are some pics to help you out -
Asymmetrical
Directional
Symmetrical
PZero
