XM Radio tuner--sloooow
I bought an 07 GS350 that came without XM. I bought the tuner from Sewell Lexus and had it installed locally. Everything works fine, but the actual tuner seems awfully slow when changing stations. My wife has an 07 GMC Acadia with XM (completly different graphics--and much better) and the thing is lightning fast! Dial from one station to another and it tunes in quick--my Lexus tuner--sloooow.
Are there any other Lexus based units out there that function quicker? I would love to install the unit in the GMC Acadia into my Lexus--for XM it is THAT much better.
Anyone notice this--any comments?

The OEM unit we have in our GS is a bit slower than the Roady XT unit I have in another car, but is also much faster than the Vaistech Terk unit I have in my GX. You might log into your XM account and try refreshing the signal to see if it helps. Good luck!

Echoing Cut-Throat's post- I set all my XM favorites this morning, and whether I press a "preset" or dial in a station using the tuner dial, it goes to the new station very quickly, I'd say less than a second.
