Default Windshield wipers not going back to home position

I have a '06 GS300 and the wipers don't seem to go back to the home position where they are more or less out of site. I am going to take it to a dealer saturday, but was wondering if i was missing something as far as sending them back to the home/retracted position. Thanks.

ps; I have rain sensing wipers and I leave the setting on auto. But even putting them in the off position doesn't seem to take care of the issue.

You might have accidentally pulled them up into the "winter" position. You should be able to force them to go down. Just read the manual. My car came this way from the dealership.

If you pulled the driver wiper up into winter position, just push it back down. If you pulled it up with the passenger wiper, you probably stripped or loosened the bolt under there, so just tighten that one, then push them back down on the driver side only.
