I smoke but I've never smoked in the car since I got it. In fact, it helps me cut back on smoking since smokers seem to religiously smoke while driving. Who would have ever thought that buying a Lexus will help you quit?!

i don't smoke and i have no problems with people who do smoke. but if you light up in my car i will put it out using your tongue then make you swallow it. my friends know my GS is my baby so they know i'll follow through with any threats about them smoking or puking in my car (when i'm driving their drunk asses home)

Smoking in your car does nothing but make it smell like trash and destroy resale. There were two GS's at my local dealer with the Ash interior. One had been smoked in and smelled awful for one but the interior was noticeably darker when compared to the other one that hadn't. It does more than just make your car smell bad.

Super Bump from the past lol. But I don't smoke, but if I did I would never!! There is always the possibility you will sell your car so why make it stink and scare potential buyers away?

The first thing I use to do was light up once I hit the drivers seat. I smoked in every car I've ever owned, except my GS. I've had 1 cig on a 5 hour road trip the entire time I've owned it, and keeping it at that.

a lot of you guys are non-smokers and so you guys can say that but im a smoker and if im ok with my body getting messed up from smoking, im ok with my car getting messed up from smoking.
my body > my car
i love my car but like the guy said earlier - its a car, not a shrine.
plus when there's traffic... what else is there to do?

I just bought my GS about 3 weeks ago. The person who owned the car before must have smoked 2 packs a day in it cuz it smelled horrible!!! After a bottle of febreeze and a couple air fresheners the smell is almost gone. I hate the smell of smoke. Especially in a damn near new car
