Opaline pearl... the new GFM and its awesome

Just saw an Opaline pearl GS350 at the LA autoshow... WOW destroys Glacier frost mica. I love this color. Similar to GFM but brighter and has more white in it, this will def be my next car but with the 460 motor so I get that awesome leather.

2007: Opaline Pearl with Cashmere on IS? Got many, no problem.
2008: GFM with Cashmere on IS? Yep, all set for ya.

2008: Opaline Pearl with Cashmere on LS? Done, plenty to choose from.

2007: GFM with Cashmere on GS? No way, Jose.
2008: Opaline Pearl with Cashmere on GS? Not a chance, get lost.

WTF, LEXUS!?!?! You want to FORCE people to special order a basic color combination that you readily offer in other models? Seriously, WHAT IS THE DEAL HERE?!

Is Opaline similar to GFM except that instead of tint of blue it has a tint of purple???

I think that's gotta be a chick color, I can't imagine being a guy and driving around a car with a tint of purple.

Agree!!! I think GMF is suitable for either ladies or gentlemen, but Opaline is definitely for the ladies!!! IMO...

You WILL NOT repeat WILL NOT ever see me driving a white car having a PURPLE of all colors tint to it! And I would hope not to see any other guys driving the same on the road.
