TPMS on aftermarket rims
Im about to do the dam thing. 20 inch chromies on the lexo. it has to be done. im gettin it ready now and will have them slapped on in a couple of months, after the noreaster storms pass. So, I have some time to get this done right and still have the TPMS feature.
So I bought a spare set of TPMS sensors and will be sending them to the rim guy for drilling and then have him mount the tires. How many of you have done this?
I have a set of 4 TPMS and I noticed there is a certain 'fitting kit' for the TPMS sensors available, like a grommet, a rubber seal, a valve cap, etc.. Anyone know about this?
Any tips on drilling the sensors into the aftermarket rim?
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
