I hope that the debate as to whether or not the GS460 has direct injection is finally settled.

The only thing we (as GS fans) are waiting for are dyno results for a GS460 to see whether the numbers have been underrated.

Just to be clear, the GS460 engine is exactly the same mechanically as the LS460's 1UR-FSE.
Proof is in the specs. Now we can finally bury that old rumor.

It would make sense to have the flagship model with the most HP but it doesn't really make sense why the HP figures are not very far off from the GS350.

agree completely. it's A LOT less than the 380 on the ls460, and ironically so close to the 450h. that's funny.

on the other hand, the gs430 had more power than the ls430

Exactly. I'm mean look at 2007, how embarassing, 290 hp GS430 or a 303 hp GS350. I'm usually one to defend Lexus but lets face it, who in their right mind wants to pay a 10k premium for 2 more cylinders and 13 less horsepower?

AND technically an engine that's 6 yrs OLD

and don't forget the short 1 yr run of the 3L engine

to me, just imagine they come out with the gs350 and gs460 to start with. it'd have been so much better
