Dashboard rattles =(
Well, I thought maybe I Didnt have the problem, but apparently I do. I have a 2007 GS 350 (only about 8 months old), and now that its cold out I can hear the dashboard squeaking by where the front windshield meets the top of the dash. I can only hear it while the car is cold, before it warms up, so Im not sure its that big of a deal. Will it get worse as time goes on? Should I just get it fixed now? Is it free to fix?
I love this car but every now and then something pops up where I feel like this shouldnt be happening with such an expensive car. No remote start for instance

I think those plastic things are for windshield mounting during manufacturing which they forget to take out. But those should give you produce rattling noise at any temperature, not just cold. If its there, loose, and rattling, it will be rattling all the time. IMHO.
@bozer: I had mine GS350AWD for 12 month and occasionally have a similar problem (just the squeak coming from around audio/nav screen, could be due to the mods I did while taking it out a few times) when it gets in single digits and before cars warms up while I start driving. Unless its unbearable, I would leave it as is. You never know what other squeaks you are going to get after they attempt to fix this problem.
Oh, and with remote, would you rather be driving Hyundai with remote start or GS350 w/o? But seriously, if I would have enough parking/garage space, I would get additional Sonata V6 to use it as my daily beater instead of my GS…

If I were you, I'd take it in... there is a TSB for the window clips. (had mine done, and it decreased my 'noises' by about 50%. I took it back and had the TSB for the dash rattles done that includes replacing the 'ventilation cowl' and insulating various parts inside the dash and along the A-Pilar. This time it seems to have done the trick. It was in the 20's this AM and no noises.
I do think that it's a shame that this car makes so many 'little' noises. While they were working on my car, I had a ES loaner...and it was quiet as could be. On my GS, I can push on just about any part of the door panel and illicit a creak... I couldn't find one on the ES. I've gone so far as to take the door panel partially off...and insulat it a bit myself... that seems to have worked for now.
