Could be a number of things. Bumper covers (materials) could be heavier. More sound deadening, etc.

Yeah, I can't figure it out either. Hell the GS 460 is 200lbs heaver than the 430! The car went from lightest in class to midpack.

Couple things I noticed...

The gray material surrounding the nav screen looks to be brighter and polished metal on the 2008.

Also the seat adjustment controls no longer have the contour for your finger, just flat plastic (looks like that from the pictures)

Is it possible to fit a 2007 grill into a 2008 GS350? I'm not feeling the grill from the 2008, too much chrome for my taste.

you are talking about the chrome bezel around. you need to do the whole bumper conversion
