Doing a 4wd Alignment make a world different in driviing
I had some gripes with my GS pulling left to right on some uneven roads due to my wide 18 inch tires, it never did that for 20,000 miles that i had car for. So I assumed that 1 of the tire that I hit the curb with at very very low speed must of put out of balance in terms of camber, toe, etc. So I did the 4wd alignment for 100 dollars, and they printed out the caliber sheet and showed that 1 front and 1 rear wheel was out of alignment but not that bad.
I too the car out for a drive and wow the GS felt more in line and had a stiff feeling to the steering wheel due to the more toe-in they did to my front and rear tires. But it began to tramline (follow gooves) on some city roads, not highways. I took it back in and they put the tires more toe-out in front and back and the car is going smooth, straight, and no pulling.
So, if you guys are having problem with steering not going straight even after steering wheel alignment or the steering is too soft for your taste ( you can do a 4wd alignment with a sporty spec or a standard spec set forward by the Lexus dealers. This way you can have a choice of how your car feels.
I am loving my GS even more now!
