Hi guys. Long time Lexus owner and long time follower of this page. Thought it would be good to share a little info after using all of the great knowledge that I have taken from you guys.
Picked up my new 2008 GS350 in Silver/Black last Saturday. Love it!

Congrats. Nice.
Question: In the short time you've had the Lexus, if you were to do an initial comparative analysis from a brand perspective, how does it fare against your Infiniti -- particulary in the areas of quality of parts, fit and finish, overall feel, dealer experience, etc? Better, similar, worse? TIA.

reggiek,
You can have the name. Not a problem. I took the name back when I had a 95/SC300 and a 96/SC400. Both were platinum metallic.
If you can figure out how to switch names....it is all yours!

Thank you guys for the kind words. I will tell you...after having a BLACK/BLACK 2002 GS300....it is so nice to be back in the silver color. I think the Chrome looks fantastic with the color. I never had a problem with the 06-07 models....and I think over time...the refresh for 08 will grow on people. I love it and would not have it any other way.

How did you know I had a Infiniti? Lucky guess? ;-)
I have always owned Lexus cars...my wifes Infiniti FX35 was a first for us. You get alot of car for the money...and it is definitely a performance car. The fit and finish are great....but in the end...it is the little things that separate a Lexus from the rest of the pack. Lexus, in my opinion, is better than Infiniti in finish, feel, dealer, etc. Less in some areas...and more in others.
