Great pictures, congrats!!!!!!

BTW, on a silver this new chrome grill is not bad all. With dark color is does stick out, but works well in this case

Congrats. Nice.

Question: In the short time you've had the Lexus, if you were to do an initial comparative analysis from a brand perspective, how does it fare against your Infiniti -- particulary in the areas of quality of parts, fit and finish, overall feel, dealer experience, etc? Better, similar, worse? TIA.

Many years ago I tried ti change my handle to platinumsc but you already had it. Boy was I disappointed. That was my car's name, my e-mail adress and so on. Now you're gonna be lurking around the 3GS section and I have to see it. poopoo!

Oh, welcome to 3GS ownership.

reggiek,

You can have the name. Not a problem. I took the name back when I had a 95/SC300 and a 96/SC400. Both were platinum metallic.

If you can figure out how to switch names....it is all yours!

Thank you guys for the kind words. I will tell you...after having a BLACK/BLACK 2002 GS300....it is so nice to be back in the silver color. I think the Chrome looks fantastic with the color. I never had a problem with the 06-07 models....and I think over time...the refresh for 08 will grow on people. I love it and would not have it any other way.

I don't have my platinum colored sc anymore, either but I still use it as my e-mail addess. It's also my handle on several other car stes. You can keep it. I'm trying to get used to ice350 in honor of my glacier frost gs.

How did you know I had a Infiniti? Lucky guess? ;-)

I have always owned Lexus cars...my wifes Infiniti FX35 was a first for us. You get alot of car for the money...and it is definitely a performance car. The fit and finish are great....but in the end...it is the little things that separate a Lexus from the rest of the pack. Lexus, in my opinion, is better than Infiniti in finish, feel, dealer, etc. Less in some areas...and more in others.
