Default Another happy story - No dash rattles any more

I guess I'm the lucky one who finaly got the problem fixed. I collected all related infomation on this forum, printed out, brought it back to dealer and told them - If u dont want to see my face any more(well at least with this problem) - just do it. And they did. I'm truly happy now.

Hey can you repost the info you have about the rattles, or what you gave the dealer. Thanks Arp

Yes. Before coming there I tried to get it fixed in Port Moody - they just told me the truth - we dont have the experience ... Well, at least it is fair. So I went to Richmond, first they did "windshield tick noise" TSB. It did improve a bit. Next time I told them that I can bring remedies from this forum and they agreed to follow them...
So in short:
1. windshield tick noise TSB
2. Right and left dash speaker clips
3. Remove dash and put felt on clips
4. Remove Nav and put felt around it.
I'll make a picture of the invoice and publish it tomorrow. And the most important part - ask for Keith to work on your car - he is the man!!!!

My car has 1300 miles on it and has developed a creaking noise , sounds like 2 pieces of styrofoam rubbing together. does anyone know how to correct this problem. Does Lexus have a TSB for this? It does not rattle only creaking noise.

Search is your friend! This is the typical problem and there are two relevant TSBs. Just search for keywords "TSB" and "TSIB" and you will find the PDFs of the bulletins. Another search keyword to use is "cowl".
