I feel you on the the chrome. It looks better in my opinion. Gives the wheels more shine and depth. Thats why they charge more for chrome. Plus the ladies like chrome. Even when I asked my wife what she thought she said that she assumed if people got rims they would get them in chrome as an upgrade. My first set of wheels I did not want in chrome , but thats all they had so I took them, and man was I happy. I will always roll chrome
I love chrome too but problem is, it doesn't seem to last long on high end wheels. It lasts forever on cast but some people I have spoken to had to re-chrome after a year or 2. Happened to me with the Maya's. I believe Adrian had to refurb the Gettins. My s.florida buddy Ramon says his Avus are peeling....a few others.
So as much as I love chrome, my next set.....already on order, is machined polish.
...actually saw one of them last nite, and flashed lites at him, but I'm sure they didn't know who I was......
Totally sucks man. probly one of my biggest fears of puttin' all my time and money into my ride and seeing someone else rollin around in something that looks similar! HATE THAT..........
