Default Window Tint

I am going to tint the windows. Does anyone have a specific brand of tint? I m going with a 10% tint. Should the rear be tinted more than the front?

Any radio interference with the tint? Do I need ceramic tint? My GS is` Starfire White. Does the tint come in vary colors? Sorry, for the stupid questions but want to get the "right" tint for my white GS.

Don't use any metallic tint. Go with a regular high performance dyed or ceramic.

Tint brands vary for the most part in terms of color. I have SolarGard film on my car. Other good brands are Madico, SunGard, Formula One and etc. Huper Optik is premium grade tint which can cost upwards of $500.00.

i have huper optik and it blocks out heat so much better than other tint i have seen. quite a bit more money but well worth it (to me tint is for blocking heat)

percentage for windows, that's personal choice

Madico sells a Ceramic tint. I guess it comes down to produt plus installer.
I will lool for "laser cut" and single piece rear window film. Also, I will ask about the risk of cutting my window seals.

single piece for rear?! i thought that's pretty standard nowadays? all my cars have only had single piece rear. windows tinting is pretty common these days, unless you go to some really bad shop, don't think they will kill your car. but then again i am in cali so auto stuff are a lot more common here

if you're gonna get ceramic, don't go to cheapy dealers.

ceramic is harder to install, and easy to botch. you will see discolorations if they don't specialize in ceramic installs.

anyone and his mom can install dyed tint.

correct, ceramic is thicker than normal and need more detailed installation. that's also part of the reason why it's more expensive

lol usually the bubbles show for the 1st couple days then it goes away. if anything you should go back and ask your shop to fix it for you. Its happen to my friend and he got it fixed for free.

I have huper optic. had ALOT of bubbles. ALL went away within two weeks. being coler, it may take longer for you due to cooler weather.
