2GS to 3GS -> VERY Disappointing!

The 3GS has a coupe-like roof sorta like the Benz CLS.
Even with that, it seems fine to me and I'm bigger than you guys. I'm 6-2 260 with no complaints about headroom or seat comfort. I don't want my seat to be too cushy so maybe that plays into this. Maybe you guys sit straight up and I definitely sit leaning back. Sometimes I sit up straight and have no complaint. I know it's coupe-like and I like it that way. As long as my head doesn't touch the top, I'm good.
Don't understand how you guys can test drive a car then buy it and complain so much. The roof height didn't change.

I've noticed pros and cons from 2GS to 3GS since I now how the 3GS a few years. One thing the 3GS has in spades over the 2GS is the technology over time has held up well. Now I have a hybrid and there is now 2GS hybrid but it still is faster than any 2GS with 25% better MPG. The NAV aged well, the cooled/heated seats are great and have 1-3 adjustments, not on off. I don't have to worry about "ball joints". The tailights don't turn "pink" over time. None of the fans need replacing, the O2 sensors have not gone bad etc etc. The pearl white on the 2GS had a TSB b/c it would turn yellow, I had mine repainted under warranty.
Don't sell the 3GS short either, over time it seems to costs less to own than the 2GS.

Lexus Test Driver

Well my first experience in a lexus was driving my uncles 99 LS400 and fell in love with the ride, my next experience was purchasing an 01 GS300 and loved the smooth ride. After a few months I test drove the 06 GS430 and bam I knew I had to have it. I recognized some of the differences you mention right away from my initial test drive but I knew that was the feel I was looking for. I wanted the sportier feel, tighter seats. The ride was stiffer but compared to other vehicles I had owned far better. My exwife has the 01 and if we go somewhere together in her car, I tell her to drive because I personally don't like to drive the GS300, its feel like I'm in a boat compared to my gs430. Don't get me wrong I like both cars but I love my GS430 alot more. If I wanted more comfort maybe I would have looked at the LS or ES. The only major gripe I have (actually it's minor) is that there is no sound indicator to inform you when you have left your turn signal on......
