Getting annoyed with Low Tire warning

I had my car for over a year, and this obviously happens only during the winter time. Annoys a hell out of me with this warning light indicating TPS sensing low tire pressure. Yes, I check to find in cold (now temperatures are below 30 in here) pressure is around 28 psi, and as soon as I add some air to bring it over 30 psi threshold - the warning goes away. But than 1-2 days later I get it again. Is this just a part of crappy run flat tires? My dealership told me "oh, its typical and expected". I don't buy this. Yes its expected when you have tire pressure on a low side when its warm, and over night it drops below TPS threshold to trigger the warning. Nothing could be done, its physics! But when you inflate your tires when its cold, should it hold without a warning for at least a month? I never have this problem when its warm outside or during the day, which makes me believe my tires are OK. So, has anybody else (East Coast of course) experiencing the same Low Tire warning on a daily basis?
Happy Holidays Alex,
And I'd be more concerned over your right knee start bending like a Flamingo's over that hump you mentioned back when than I'd be over your sensor
Seriously though, you could try as suggested above by others, the tire may not be placed correctly/seated on the rim.

Low Tire?
I live in NJ and have an 06 GS 430. I had a problem this summer with a low tire sensor. I filled the tire several times, dealer couldn't find a problem....now in the winter I haven't had a problem. I also have the run flats.....good luck.

TPMS problems - battery maybe?
Sounds like you've done everything right.
I'm wondering if a battery/s in a tire sensor might be going soft.
Typically batteries don't like operating in the cold and lose a bit of their capacity. This would fit your seasonal symptoms.
If the pressures are all up, and equal, I'd suspect a battery.
Good luck,
Whit

You may know this already but if I remember correctly, the TPMS light blinks if the problem is with the sensor, and stays on solid when it's actually detecting low pressure. I've had problems with the sensors (on my Toyota, which I believe is the same system as Lexus) not being calibrated correctly. I faintly remember from my new GS manual that there is a calibration procedure, which you might try. My Toyota could not be owner-calibrated. I had to take it to my dealer.

After making this initial post I continued monitoring my tires and found 3 of them holding up OK, while only the front driver side tire was loosing air down to 28 psi. After inflating it back up to 33 psi, so far so good. But also the temperatures here have been in 40s now. Gonna wait until the temperature will go down again. Actually, now that I think about it, not all 4 tires were loosing air that much, and I was just in a hurry to go through all 4 tires to inflate them to get rid off that annoying warning.
Either way, sensor or no sensor, I can't wait to get rid off those awful runflats.
@Bob: Hump, what hump? Yeah, that AWD "hump" annoyance lasted only a week or so, and in a distant past
