I believe you are right. All the Lexus sports models gets the painted door handles, IS, GS and SC. All the Luxury models and SUVs gets the chrome door handles, ES, LS, GX. RX and LX. Chrome handles may be more expensive to make at 1st, but they are cheaper in the long run. Since Lexus doesnt have to make 10 diff. color handles and stock 10 diff colors.

the way i see it. if lexus would come out with the door handles that infiniti has that are the chrome door handles and right on the middle it has a line of the color of the car.. very nice indeed



on red and black this combo would look very nice

Lexus already tried something like that on the previous generation LS430 but I guess they determined that the complete chrome handle fit their L-fitnesse better...

Nay. Don't like to look at all the oily fingerprints that chrome shows. I think color keyed door handles are the way to go. Looks more monochromatic.

Yeah I think the handles look nice but done with the pillars they look a bit over done. Where do you get the chrome handles? The ones they show on eBay dont have the cut outs for the lock button on the each door handle.
