If you lift the hard cover located to the left of your spare tire cover, there's a spot in there where it fits perfectly (opposite side from the one hiding the ML amplifier). One word of caution...it's got undercoating sprayed inside. I put my entire manual in a zip-lock bag and placed it in that well.

Hmmm, I thought everyone kept it in the trunk strap.

The owners manual portfolio for 08 is different than the 06-07.

Um, they must have enlarged it for the '08 because my manual binder is huge - maybe 2.5" thick - and it fits, although a little tight. Or did they reduce the size of the manuals and binder?

buddy of mine was just very recently test driving an Infinity G35x and the binder/holder thing for the manuals and the rest of the stuff was roughly the same size as ours. Infinity has this thing...picture our binder/holder thingy with that hard velcro or whatever it is on the backside...he nabbed that for me and my whole binder thigny fits in it perfectly...velcroed it up to the side wall in the boot opposite of the first aid kit, etc. It has an infinity symbol on it, but who cares...it's not sliding arond the back seat of my car anymore...

They both have the same manuals. Just the way the portfolio is folded in a different way.

Thge glove box has not changed at all. It's the same across the board.

I kept mines in a dry and safe place at home. You never know when you decide to sell your car.. Having all the manuals and warranty cards is a plus.
