Possible to override "I agree" screen?
Does anyone know if there is a way to override that annoying "I agree/language" screen that pops up every time you start the car?
Thanks!

Welcome to CL.
The safest way without having to cut wires or add piggyback modules would be to get the navi v.7.1. update. This eliminates the "I AGREE" startup screen all together.
There are actually a few topics that have discussed this on going issue for us.
I was able to find this through our SEARCH function:

nav update
Thanks for the nav update solution for eliminating the "I agree" screen. But I have a couple questions.
Is the v 7.1 a dvd? How much should it cost? Can I purchase it online and install it myself? If so, any website suggestions?
Thanks again.

$260 plus $40 rebate for your old DVD. It takes about 30 seconds to replace.

Buy an '08 GS.
I was pleasantly surprised that my new '08 GS only has the "warning" screen that disappears after about 5 seconds. No more "agree" buttons. Yeah.

Is there any downside to updating to the latest software, such as some hack features won't work, or VAIS/Ipod mods won't function properly?
