Finally got around to taking my car in for its 5,000 mile service (1,000 miles early) and miscellaneous warranty repair (including the front brake pads TSB). Wanted to take it to Longo as that is where I got the car but Falk Lexus in Beverly Hills is much closer to work and home. Also, to get a loaner Longo required 7 day advanced notice. Falk only requested one day.

Of most of the negativity I have read regarding their service, I experienced just the opposite. I was told it would be a 6 hour service call and so it was. I did have to take the car back yesterday because a mirror assembly required replacement and took a day to order. Took the car in, drove out with a loaner, came back 2 1/2 hours later (as I was told) and drove away in my car.

As for their sales department, no love to give as I couldn't get the time of day when shopping the car last summer. But gotta give some love to the service department (BTW, the bays were full even during this holiday season).

More people have time during the holidays to go for service.

Yeah, their sales could use some improvement. If you want sales service, go at night an hour before they close on a weekday. That area is pretty deserted at that time cuz people have long left work and not too many people live around there. Course, not many people will go out of their way to do that.
