Does anyone have an idea for a spare key option in the event of a lost key? On my 2GS, we had a "credit card" key that fit in your wallet and would start the car. With the smart keyfob, I guess it isn't an option. Would there be a way to stash a fob in the car and use the metal key to open the door. Of course I'm sure the car won't lock with the fob in the car. I guess I could leave a fob at work but only have 2 of them. Any thoughts?
Thanks

Its a good idea, but our cars require an electronic sensing of the key in order to start the car. So if it detects the key anywhere then anyone can start it up and drive away. That would suck. lol
Plus, with the 2GS, it had a key and then the card with the chip. Once you turn it to the 2nd click "on" I believe they card needs to be next to it for the car to start.
Its an even trade off, but yeah if you lose the key and don't have the other one around you then you are really screwed. YIKES!!!
