this is a picture of my ride right after it was dropped with a set of tein h techs. The rear has settled a bit lower. The rear looks perfect now. The ride quality is amazing and you should be able to align within spec unlike tanabe and better ride. Also you can switch to a 245/35 in the front with no rubbing, I think the 245/30 looks better than the 245/35.
BUFF 1, per your tag, love the color and really like the daytona's...but do what Snoop says and drop it like its hard. the staggered look is awesome with the gunmetal and chrome lip. congrats!! Coming from a Z06 obviously you are car enthusiast so should be no problem.
Also, what brand are the tires?

Glad to see the NC team putting thinks together. The car looks great.

Do you know there are two different Tanabe spring setups for the GS? The NF and the DF. The DF gives the 2" drop in the front. The NF is very similar to the H-Tech. Have you ever owned a set of Tanabe springs for your GS? I'm guessing no.
I can vouch for the Tanabe setup either NF or DF. I'm riding on DF's which is a little low for some. I maybe switching to coilovers soon because all lowering springs usually never give an even drop, especially on the fronts. One side is always higher than the other.
