Floor Mats

I've had experience with both. There are pros and cons to both. I prefer the Lloyd Mats for several reasons:
Pros:
1) Doesn't stain as bad or yellow at heavily soiled spots (under the brake and gas pedals).
2) The Lloyd Mats have the cutout for the floor hook. I've constantly have to adjust the Exact mats because they don't come with a proper fastener to hold them down. They used to provide them with plastic clips to hold in place, but after several days/miles of usage, the mats still ride up towards the firewall.
Cons:
1) Not as clear or transparent as the Exact.
All the Longo Lexus loaners have Lloyd mats despite the fact they sell Exact. I haven't had a chance to obtain a loaner car from a different dealership to see what they use.

You should contact Lloyd mats to see if they can send you a version with the hook holes.
The thicker the floormat, the harder it will be for any clear floor mat to hold onto.

It works. The carpet pile will be pushed down by the mat to accomodate that hook believe it or not.

I just ordered clear mats from
http://www.lexuspartsworld.com/
I haven't received them yet, but I wanted to avoid the "all weather" variety because they look like truck mats to me. I have a feeling I'll be experimenting before I find something I really like.

Can someone forward me to a link where they had a good experience buying lloyd mats with the holes for the hooks for a 2008 gs350 since most sites don't have that year and model since its new? Do all GS mats have the same dimensions? Thanks

They are all identical except for the AWD version. The front driver's floor mat for the AWD version has a larger cutout for the transmission tunnel hump which portrudes on the driver's side.
