Oh no... our world is over. Ahhhhh!!

I for one have a plug in airbag jack that I received for Xmas that I can no longer use as easy as I thought with the GS. its sad that my Toyota Maxtrix had this.

Sighhhh.... as you were. Im sad now.
Duh, you can get an "inverter" that can plug into cigarette lighter outlet and convert DC 12V to AC 115V...

As a bonus, you can use the inverter on the airplane too!!!

I am very well aware of the inverter boxes. Too bad its not built in is my point. Its convenient for using laptops or whatever.

FYI.... I read the entire manual in hopes of finding one. I didnt read the manual to ***** and complain about things I didnt find. In most cases cars are coming equipped with these type of convenience item now.

Nevermind, I'll go back to worrying if my 22's will rub.

I will gather a small list... Most Minivans and Crossover vehicles come equipped with it. Im just saying that Lexus being the relentless pursuier of perfection might just offer such a convenient amenity. I mean its nice to know its there in an emergency. That and a decent trunk lighting system would be great. I mean I moved over into a GS for space and long term family comfort i guess. Maybe Im not thinking wealthy enough??!!

I would honestly use that outlet more than the Bluetooth Phone interface that I dont ever plan to use

ic, i guess it's different between people. i can't think of myself using 115v outlet in my ls or gs. but i use bluetooth phone every day

i agree minivans, suv, etc... a lot of them have the 115v outlet

Maybe should've bought a Matrix, minivan, SUV, crossovers, or the LS to begin with if you really wanted the feature.

That's harsh, it'll cost the OP at least 20k more to get into a comparably equipped LS460 - simply not cost effective for a 115v plug . . .

Robert, this is just about the funniest thing I have ever read on this forum!

Actually I stayed in an RV this fall out in Montana that was large enough for a stripper pole, but we couldn't find any girls and all the sheep were Baaaahshful!
