Are you thinking 13W7's? If so, put one in a bandpass box and you will put cracks in the cement.

Exactly. Have you ever heard one of these subs? They are ridiculously loud. Put one in a ported Bandpass box and it will be ridiculously loud.

haha that's what I was thinking. And those subs are technically 13.5". They are stupid loud. Go look at some of the videos on youtube. These guys have to get plexiglass windows so they don't just shatter haha.

0ohh wow its like that just from one subb ?? hey if one sub sounds good enough ill save the money instead of just installing two subs . i shouldn't have a problem with the charging system on the gs right ?

This is 1 13w7 in a bandpass box. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fO79hmdVO7Q

I think a 13w7 might be a little much. Are you going to upgrade the rest of the system?

I don't know about the charging system. You will most likely have to do the big 3 upgrade though. But that just involves grouding.

The sub will probably drown out the mids and highs. might as well upgrade that if u going to do a sub. unless u have a ML system already.

I think a single 12" will cut it, but if ur a bass head, then yeah the 13" with juice will fix that. I use to be an audio guy, but im trying to stay away from upgrading everything. I have ML in my gs350 right now, so im good.

when i pulled my car out i told them that i want the Ml full loaded . it sounds great and everything dont get me wrong but the bass is weak lol ya know. i was thinking about putting a battery in the trunk too but i heard that it stresses the alternator making it work double right ? what do u say the jl 13 a high capacitor and 1 or 2 amps . iam still thinking of how exactly i should do it .

Yeah, a singlee JL 13w7 should it the sweet spot. Make sure you get a good amp.

As for alternator, I wouldn't install an extra battery because it will put strain on the alternator. If you want, take yours out and get it rebuilt to handle more. Thats what all those guys who want BASS do. As for caps and stuff, I don't believe in all that either.

I just hope you don't drown out the mids and highs with such a powerful sub.

Don't think I'm a snob, but Rockford Fosgates are garbage in my opinion. There are great no name subs out ther. I happen to be a fan of JL, RE, and DD to name a few. If you wanna talk about being drowned out, imagine 2 15" DD's ported in the back of an F-150 w/ no upgrades to the stock speakers. It didn't sound too bad, but it did need to be upgraded. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ed2-kp1kXnM
It hit so hard that the CD's would skip in the stock CD changer

It has since been taken out since my best bud came to his senses

In all honesty, I would port 1 quality sub. It will sound better 2 of the same subs in a sealed box.

i have a JL12W6 in a custom box and a Rockford amp and it is ridiculous. I have a **** in my little change holder under the gas/hood drop down thing that can turn down the bass.
