Tag Question When Leasing.
When you lease dont the concessions cover the tag? I have the contemporary tag right now and they gave me the registration for it, but I'm still confused about this since its my first official car? Wussup? I wanna throw the Miami Heat tag already on it

When you post something, I highly recommend you read what you wrote first, to see if you can understand it. Personally, I have no idea what you're trying to ask other than it relates to leasing and Florida tags. Whatever it is that you're trying to figure out with respect to registration, your dealer is the best source of this information.

Uhhhh no. Sounds like I stated everything correctly and it also sounds like you've never leased a car. You lease a car and it comes with a temporary tag.

OK, I leased, an option other than buying. When you lease there is a certain amount you HAVE to put down out of pocket to cover something called concessions. Now my question is doesn't concessions cover the tag? When you lease you get a temporary tag when you drive the car off the lot. This contemporary tag is valid for about a month. So who do I talk to since I think I paid for my tag already to get my permanent tag?

First, it's a temporary tag, not contemporary, and in states where you have a choice of transfering your old tag or getting a new tag, and you choose to get a new tag, the dealer applies for the new tag which will be sent to you in the mail (I'm assuming this is the way it works in Florida). Meanwhile, you drive with the temporary tag until the real tag arrives. If you choose to stay with your old tag, you'll have to change your registration with the DMV before you slap your old tag on the new car.

I'm confused and I am leasing.
When I leased, all I put down was first month's payment and the cost for license and registration (tags). The 'temporary' tag you refer to doesn't exist in California (unless you're referring to the temporary registration slip taped to the lower right of the front windshield). My licenses plate and tags came about 45 days later.
As for the "Miami Heat" tag, *I* would be embarrassed calling myself a Heat fan considering their record (and thankfully, you now have the BIG BABY to deal with).
