Default no external system connected!!! nav hack gone wild :( please help!

hi,
so after doing the mod from the diagram by "quezacotl," i turn the car on to test it. the screen comes on with "i agree," as usual.. but when hitting the map button, it saids "no external system connected" and then a blank screen.

did i do something wrong? do i have to put the armrest unit along with the 2 switches for power/snow back it? i am panicking now cause maybe i cut the wrong wire??? i did notice there were two white wires with silver dots... but one of them has a thin black line running along...

please help!

because theres two white wires with silver dots... i think i cut the wrong one in the middle harness. the one he circles in the picture is actually a different one that he cut from this post for the 2007 gs https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=317093

after doing a few of these, it is sooooo easy to do, learning curve sucks, in all honesty, you can have these issues with that kit especially if the plugs are not inserted firmly

Yup, I screwed up. I did not realize that there was 2 white wires with silver dots. I took the pictures before I cut the wire. The next day I circled the wrong one. So I deleted the picture.

Sorry about that! - Me bad!

I put in a better picture for you to use. I also went back and inserted this picture in place of the bad picture in my thread. Sorry about the whole mess up!
