Default 06 GS300 Cabin filter change

Hi,all
noticed some smell from my AC.. does anyone know how I can change the Cabin Filter? Besides the Cabin Filter, what else should I look for in this problem?

You are still under warranty right, then tell your service advisor to FIX it!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think warranty will cover that, you need to change the cabin filter same as oil/air filter. I boughti it from Sewell Lexus and replaced it myself.

Product: ACC Cabin Filter
Part # R2060-268866

Or you can buy it here:

The cabin airfilter is located behind the glove box.

MAKE SURE that you have the system on 'Recirculate'. It opens the door and allows you access to the filter. Do not try to force the door open, it will break the box and its not cheap. We had an oil change tech do that when they first came out.

If you are have a/c odor problems, I recommend taking it into the dealership.

Thanks, guys.... just bought the Cabin Filter in the dealership. Replaced it myself.... but the smell is still there but not as strong.... should I turn up the AC at the highest and allow it to blow for like 20 minutes and check it again? or should I just bring it straight to the deal?

Just address the A/C odor issue to your dealer first. because some time the problem is not with the cabin filter. Especially, after you changed it and it still has the smell.

In my case, it end up replaced some part of the A/C. good luck

could be just mold/mildew growing inside the cabin filters.
